A masterclass in the basics of card games is on offer as the Big Baccarat event returns to the Sportsbar to showcase the skills of some of the area’s best card players.

The quiz, first played at the Big Baccarat in Hollywood last year, returns on the 16th of February for its second outing to host some of the area’s best players as they compete for over £1,000 in prizes.

Based on the American game of 바카라사이트, which is also known as the Chinese Poker, Big Baccarat is one of the world’s most popular forms of gambling and includes variations like keno and speed baccarat.

Glenavon’s Mel Heaney, who plays on the Northern Ireland baccarat team, will be among the players in action, with organizers welcoming players from all over the world.

Sportsbar owner Ian Woods said: “We’re delighted to be hosting the Big Baccarat again and would like to thank all the players who have already booked to compete.

This event really is the perfect excuse for people to try out baccarat for the first time, as well as for those of us who have been playing for years.

“We are always overwhelmed by the support we receive from the players and are happy to continue to do our bit for the Causeway Coast and Glens Bowling Leagues and community groups in our area.”

The event takes place on the 16th February from 8 pm-11 pm. There will be the usual raffle with prizes including brand new gambling money.
